PARIS IN AUGUST

I know it is already November, but since Paris is always a good idea...
This was my last trip to Paris in August. Paris is certainly one of my favourite cities. For me it was love at first sight. I instantly fell in love with the food, the fashion, the lifestyle, the art and the architecture of this city. During my first trips to Paris, I visited all the tourist sights: the Louvre museum, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Montmartre... Even though I never get tired of walking by the Eiffel Tower, I love to explore other sides of Paris that I have not seen before.
Things that I always do when I am in Paris:

Walk around in Paris!
Paris is such a great city to walk around and explore.
Wearing Mango Blazer, Zara Dress and Shoes, Vintage Bag.

I love a classic black and white look with red nails.

Have a Falafel
in the quarter le marais, in the rue de rosiers there is one restaurant after another.
People are waiting in long lines, but it is worth the wait.

My favourite!

Stop by Chanel
Even if I don't buy anything. It is always nice to explore the store.

Restock my french beauty products and check out new ones.
I am obsessed with french Pharmacies. My favourite store in the city: Citypharma on 26 rue de Four. I have been to many Pharmacies around the city and the product range and prices can vary. Citypharma has most of the brands, it is fair priced and even though it can be crowded, there is always a sales lady to help you. You can find my favourite beauty products HERE.

Another beauty store that I always go to: Sephora. Living in Germany we unfortunately do not have Sephora, therefore it is always a highlight for me. I have been to many Sephora stores in France and Spain and I have made the experience that the staff is well trained and helpful. My buy this time: Marc Jacobs Lipgloss, which is not available in Germany yet.

Have a coffee and a croissant.
Another thing that I love about Paris: Sitting next to each other in bistros and cafés,
so you can watch the street and the people passing by while having coffee and croissant.

Taking the Metro.
When I do get tired of walking around, I take the Metro. I always buy 10 Tickets, since it is cheaper. I keep the unused tickets for my next trip to Paris.

Jardin des Tuileries
A romantic place to enjoy the sunshine.

Passing Jardin des Tuileries.

See the sunset.
I love watching the sunset on one of the bridges.

My new discoveries in Paris:

Beeing a regular shopper at Sézane, I was excited to see L'appartement Sézane.

But of course it was closed, since it is August and holiday season... So maybe next time :D

Something that I was also looking forward to see: the fleamarket in Paris! I picked the fleamarket Marche aux Puces de MontreuilI had read that it is very charming and you can find antiques and vintage clothing. Honestly, I was shocked, I walked the entire market, because I couldn't believe that this was the market, but it was.

Among all the stands, there was only one stand with a vintage flair. There was no vintage clothes or antiques otherwise.
So next time I will check out the big and famous St.-Ouen.

View from the tower Montparnasse.

The restaurant in the tower Montparnasse.

After the Montparnasse I walked towards the Eiffel Tower, passing the Musée Rodin and the Tombeau de Napoléon.

The Wall for peace in 32 languages.

Like I said, I never get tired of walking by.

On the bridge next to the Eiffel Tower: Love me.

Perfect place to take a break and a picnic.

Givenchy always reminds me of the glamourous Audrey Hepburn.

Last day. Time to get a final Croissant and some magazines for the road.

Summer ended. Autmn is here and winter is coming. No matter what season it is,
Paris is always a good idea!
